Our custom cabinetry is the heart of what sets Tom Moore Builder homes apart. All of our cabinetry is custom crafted in our workshop in Underhill, Vermont by master craftsmen. Whether you are remodeling your kitchen or looking for the perfect cabinetry and casework for your new home, Tom Moore Builder custom cabinetry will provide you with a look that is truly unique.

Box store cabinets may look nice in store, but are often made of substandard materials and utilize fillers in order to fit in your space which reduces the amount of functional space. When designing your custom cabinets we will offer options that reflect your personality and taste, show you samples and even give you the opportunity to meet with our master cabinet makers. When working with Tom Moore Builder, everything about your cabinets is customizable from the wood and the finish to the door style and layout. We will work with you to help design cabinets that will make your space truly your own.

Hardwood Construction

Keeping with our green philosophy, we believe in utilizing only the finest hardwoods when creating our cabinets. Particle board releases harmful VOCs (volatile organic compounds), which is why you will never find it in a Tom Moore Builder kitchen. Our first choice when building cabinetry is to utilize sustainably forested local eastern woods but we also source exotic woods to meet our client's needs.

Common hardwood used in out cabinetry includes:

Natural Finish

With so many natural options available we believe in choosing the right hardwood to meet the look a client is going for. Nearly all Tom Moore Builder kitchens feature natural hardwood kitchens and many utilize multiple wood species to create a unique look. We will also stain and paint cabinetry to meet our client's tastes.
